About Me
My résumé combines components of writing, teaching, music, and entertainment.

I grew up in
Montoursville, Pennsylvania and received my BA in Music from Indiana University of
Pennsylvania.   Following graduation, I moved to Florida, where I began a career with the Walt Disney
World Company.  I held a variety of positions during my fourteen years at Disney, but what I enjoyed most
of all was my time as an entertainer performing in the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center.  In 1994 I earned
an MA in Elementary Education from the
University of Central Florida and began a teaching career that has
included classroom, resource, and support positions in Orlando, Florida; Raleigh, North Carolina; and
Chicago, Illinois.  I currently teach English and chorus at a private PreK-12 school on the beautiful island of

K
aua'i, Hawai'i.
